If the Alabama lawmaker would like to visit YouTube, and takes a look at various videos, he will find female "children" in shooting competition and the one I looked at, who looked to be no more than 10, was shooting a fully automatic rifle, a shotgun and what appeared to be a 9mm pistol. So, I'm pretty sure that an adult female teacher is capable of pulling a trigger, especially to protect children.

There isn't enough money in any state to pay cops to guard schools in sufficient numbers, to provide adequate protection. Teacher (and other school employees) volunteers are an almost scott free solution.

Sure there are. When schools have MULTIPLE employees armed (teachers, maintenance crew, janitors, administrators, library clerks, cafeteria workers, etc.)

And all this is in conjunction with a security room computer monitor, with multiple screens, monitoring multiple cameras inside & outside.

What is so hard about locking the doors after school starts and having a person or two who can watch and screen people who come onto the property? You can't come on MY property without being detected or enter my house without force, and all that will get you is blown away.
