Sweden burns bunnies for heat

There is a lot of doves outside we can burn. But i don't want to offend rayboyusmc because many of them are his friends.

My cousin lives in an old farmhouse in Denmark. They bought a commercial oven to heat their house. On really cold nights the family sleeps on the kitchen floor. And they are not poor.

God bless socialism.

Not too smart either. What's wrong with wood?
If you have a cabin in the woods far from others, wood is cheap and plentiful. If your relatively small country is packed with cold cabins, wood becomes expensive and scarce. In Poland you will hardly ever see new wood fence posts. They use concrete posts to keep from wasting the wood.

Going camping and finding select firewood around the camp, it having been generated by the natural death of trees, can be fun and exciting. Buying "cheap" firewood at the QT station at $5 a little bitty bundle can really suck if that's your only source of heat. Paying $60-75 for a cord of wood sucks...especially if you have to unload it, stack it and keep it coming to the fireplace.

Sweden has caused the unbalance of nature that produces the excess rabbits. Whatever solution they may come up with that utilizes their remains has got to be better than letting the carcasses rot. I see greater value in producing food, even if for other animals such as domestic dogs and cats (they'll never know) than in burning. The skins of rabbits could keep many human heads, ears, hands and feet warm, likely conserving more heat than would be generated by their burning. Rabbit stew could be packaged and exported. If rabbit farms were treated like cattle farms, catfish farms, chicken farms, turkey farms and whatever other farms we use to grow edible animals, there would be no stigma attached to their slaughter and reduction into useful components.

Problem is, these are wild rabbits that would likely not voluntarily enter the confines of a rabbit farm. Domestic rabbits would taste better.

Burning them is, in my humble opinion, stupid.

I'm actually quite jealous. Imagine waking up to the smell of roasting rabbit every morning!
