If there was no middle class, the rich would not keep making money and no more people would become wealthy, except for the dictators. It's middle class that makes things work. Middle class is indicative of people moving up the ladder. It's proof that the poor can become wealthy.

If a politician wants socialism, then the middle class must go. For socialism to replace capitalism, the country needs the majority to be poor and in need of government aid. Government then robs the rich to pay the poor, at least till the money runs out and the country completely fails. Of course, each new generation of Dems think they can actually make it work. In the last 4 years, many middle class people have turned into poor people. Of course, Obama has to claim that he wants to help the middle class, those that Biden admitted have been ignored the last 4 years.
