Storm Watch 2017 in California

This has gone throughout the history of California. In the early 18th century when the Spanish arrived, they went through periods of drought followed by rains that flooded out many of the missions. These cycles are natural. The problem is that leftist politicians have ignored creating the infrastructure to reduce the damage done by nature. They had hundreds of miles of cement lined rivers that do not allow restoration of water tables.

In the Coachella valley, Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage, etc, the roads are made of water permeable cement. The water goes right on through. The cement lined rivers should be ripped out and replaced by permeable cement.

That's funny...... I was here and I didn't see real bad flooding here in Palm Spring or rancho mirage but lots of damage and flooded in Los Angeles areas.
