Stalin, Communism and the left wing

I believe every non-liberal in this discussion thinks W was a government loving big spending liberal.

Which is why there's a 4 out of 5 chance they thought Bush was doing a great job throughout most of his presidency.

What a stupid response. Yeah, Einstein, small government libertarians, anarchists, we thought he was great. Here's your sippy cup, I put juice in it for you.

Stupid huh? You started your post with this.

You know, I looked at my alerts and saw 4 people had replied and sighed, I didn't want to reply to any of them, including you. Why? Because I know this is the sort of rubbish I was going to get.

FACT, 80% or more of Republicans thought Bush was doing a good job for MOST of his presidency. 60% thought he was doing a good job at ALL TIMES.

Stupid? Yeah, no doubt they were.

So....? What?

If that was your point, why didn't you just say it?

I did. Communists are lying to you. No kidding.

Well it was you saying it, not Communists, unless your point now is that you're a Communist.

You didn't say it, hence why it took me a load of posts just to wring it out of you.
Incoherent babbling

So what is your point. Why are you telling me that there's a difference between the theoretical Communism and Communism put in practice exactly?

Because you said they aren't communists because they are not theoretical communists. They followed the communist manifesto, they were communists. That you want to define communists as a Kibbutz is ridiculous.

Oh, you fail to make a point properly means I'm incoherent. Right, got it.

You're saying Communists aren't Communists because they don't meet your fantasy land definition of communists and you are saying my point is incoherent? Um..OK?

Is there any fucking point in explaining ANYTHING to you? No, I don't think so.

I don't even need to go look anything up. You know many black conservatives don't like gays and most certainly gay marriage. I could name another dozen issues without bothering to research it.

Without researching it, your one issue you want to bring up is social conservative blacks don't like gay marriage? That is your go to issue that liberals are not in lock step? You just homered my point for me, thanks! Wow, what a diverse party you are. LOL.

But Republicans, regardless of what they actually believe, they vote alike, they walk alike, they talk alike because being 90% white, they ARE alike.

That you have to keep going back to race whoring shows that even you know your party is devoid of ideas or solutions since your desire is to stay in the mud. You are at home there.

As for capitalists, no idea what you are talking about. Hitler controlled industry. There were no capitalists, you don't know what capitalism is if you think Nazi Germany was capitalist. And Hitler served no one. They served him.
capitals-return-in-nazi-germany.jpg

"On Twitter, Justin Paulson brought this fascinating article from The Journal of Economic Perspectives to my attention.

"It’s called 'The Coining of ‘Privatization’ and Germany’s National Socialist Party.” Apparently, the first use of the word “privatization' (or “reprivatization”) in English occurred in the 1930s, in the context of explaining economic policy in the Third Reich.

"Indeed, the English word was formulated as a translation of the German word 'Reprivatisierung,' which had itself been newly minted under the Third Reich."

Next time someone tells you the Nazis were anti-capitalist 8230 Corey Robin

LOL, the next time a liberal tells you they know what capitalism is ...

Crony capitalism is a form of socialism, not capitalism. Capitalism means economic freedom. The liberal authors you are citing here don't even know what the word means. Germany was a centrally planned economy. The difference between fascism and socialism is that in true socialism the industry is owned by the State. In fascism, industry is technically in private hands but the State sets economic and social policy and industry is required to follow that plan and get all major decisions approved by government. That is what happened in Germany. The difference between faschism and socialism is only a technical one. They are both the opposite of capitalism where decision making is in private hands for businesses, customers, employers and employees.

Er.... I didn't mention anything about you being republicans or not. I don't really see what difference it makes, you're turning this debate into another partisan fight.

Can you really tell me what the point of anything you have said is? You're not trying to debate.

2010 CBS News/New York Times poll on the tea party movement

- Among all Americans, the Democratic Party has a net negative, 42/50 favorable rating. Among tea partiers the split is 6/92 -- only six percent have a favorable view.

- Among all Americans, the Republican Party is viewed a little less favorably than the Democrats -- 38/53. Among tea partiers, it has a 54/43 favorable rating.

- Among all Americans, George W. Bush has 27/58 positive/negative favorable rating. Among tea partiers he's viewed favorably, 57/27.

- One explanation for that: Among all Americans, the Bush administration takes the largest share -- 39 percent -- of the blame for the "current federal budget deficit." Only 6 percent of tea partiers blame Bush, while 24 percent blame President Obama and 37 percent blame Congress.

- Americans are fairly evenly split on whether they consider "reducing the budget deficit" more important than cutting taxes -- 47 percent say tax cuts, 45 percent say deficit reduction. Tea partiers lean more heavily toward tax cuts (49 percent) than deficit reduction (42 percent). But while Americans would prefer that the government "spend money to create jobs" by a 50/42 margin, only 17 percent of tea partiers agree -- 76 percent want to cut the deficit.

- Among all Americans, Glenn Beck is a divisive and not too well-known media figure. Only around half of them have heard of Beck, and those folks view him favorably, 18/17. Among tea partiers, Beck is wildly popular -- 59/6 favorable.

- Among all Americans, Sarah Palin is wildly unpopular -- her negative/favorable rating is 30/45. But tea partiers adore her and give her a 66/12 favorable rating. Yet here's something to watch -- only 40 percent of tea partiers say Palin could be an "effective president," compared to 47 percent who disagree. (Among all Americans the numbers are 26 percent and 63 percent.)

- Tea partiers are not nearly as socially conservative as the GOP. Only 40 percent believe there should be "no legal recognition of gay couple's relationships," while 41 percent support civil unions. Only 42 percent favor a decrease in legal immigration-- about in line with most Americans. Only 40 percent support the Roe v. Wade decision, but try getting 40 percent of Republican politicians to say that.

Oh -- tea partiers really, really don't like President Obama. Among all Americans he has a 50-percent approval rating; among tea partiers, it's 7 percent. Among all Americans, 57 percent say Obama "shares the values most Americans try to live by" and 58 percent say he "understands the needs and problems" of people like them. Among tea partiers, the numbers are 24 percent and 20 percent, respectively. Twenty-five percent of tea partiers say Obama's policies "favor blacks over whites," an opinion shared by only 11 percent of the country at large (89 percent of tea partiers are white).

Well, then you aren't reading the replies you get, I told you that.

You are arguing Communism is like a Kibbutz where everyone sings kumbaya and loves each other. It only works on a small scale with voluntary participants.

The Communist governments follow the ... Communist Manifesto.
