It just dawned on me that socialist government bureaucrats and dictators are (and have been) some of the greatest capitalists of all time.
I've been criticizing them for wanting to redistribute the wealth, when in reality they've simply been creating a monopoly for themselves where they're the only only ones allowed to run and operate businesses.
That's brilliant!
Instead of dealing with the competition inherently present in the free-enterprise system, socialists have found a way to game the system, eradicate their competition and essentially control all the capital!
Find me one socialist president, government bureaucrat or dictator that wasn't ridiculously rich.
I think us free-marketers should open our eyes and realize the possibilities of embracing some of the ideas the left has to offer.
