I don't know where they came up with enough Turtle makeup to turn Beck Bennett into McConnell, but they sure did - AMAZING!!

CNN interviews Republican senators Mitch McConnell (Beck Bennett), Lindsey Graham (Kate McKinnon), Susan Collins (Cecily Strong), Jeff Flake (Pete Davidson) and Arizona prosecutor Rachel Mitchell (Aidy Bryant) as well as Democratic senators Chuck Schumer (Alex Moffatt) and Joe Manchin (Mikey Day) about the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.

They only had a little time to prepare it--it was nowhere close to as good as the Hillary Clinton celebration when Trump's Access Hollywood tape came out--6:29 on the clip.

Gotta admit, that's funny as all hell irregardless of fence sides we graze on. Moo!

I had no feelings one way or the other - The fix was in two weeks ago

Actually, the "fix was in" when Harry Reid insisted on pushing the "nuclear option" garbage. I still say it was a bad idea.

Can't disagree with ya on that cowboy. We need a reset to 60 votes and the filibuster, and I say that whether Progs are in control or not. It's the only we we're going to get MODERATE justices and begin to de-politicize SCOTUS.

Ya, that was good - This one too. Larry David as Bernie? WoW - And Kate McKinnon is a freaking national treasure

Larry David is more Bernie than Bernie, just like Tina Fey was more Sarah Palin than Palin.
Well, we might as well laugh as cry, at this point. Thanks for a good thread, Dr. Love. If you all want, there's a thread in the Flame Zone for office warming gifts for Justice Kavanaugh. Just scroll past the typical FZ bullshit that accumulates toward the end and leave your heartfelt wishes. Error | US Message Board - Political Discussion Forum

...so much so, you had to make this thread. :laughing0301:

Laughing about it is obsessive or butthurt in some manner?
Please

Only you can answer for yourself on that, but yes, one of the two.

I was pissed 2 weeks ago dude. Bart's testimony showed a total lack of proper temperament - His partisanship, conspiracy theories and bullying were offensive - The ridiculously limited FBI investigation was a sham - Then came Trump's mocking of Dr Ford after he'd called her "credible and a fine lady"? ... Not cool in the slightest.

Over it - time to have a good laugh and move on.

"Conor McGregor Deemed Unfit For Supreme Court Due To Temperament
PARADISE, NV—Celebrity MMA fighter Conor McGregor was reportedly under consideration for a Supreme Court seat but was denied after the Senate Judiciary Committee observed his "rude and frankly disturbing" temperament in a press conference leading up to his fight with Khabib Nurmagomedov.

McGregor has been disqualified from taking Ruth Bader Ginsburg's rapidly approaching open seat or any other SCOTUS seat that may suddenly open up.

"Frankly, after observing his demeanor screaming expletives and dropping sick burns on his opponents, we're just not sure he has the temperament to serve on the Court," said Senator Chuck Grassley. "He literally throws things at people without any regard for, well, anybody."

"It's a little scary if I'm being honest."

Pundits and politicians on both sides of the aisle agreed that McGregor may not be the right fit.

"He's an absolute delight on camera and in the ring," said Senator Dianne Feinstein. "But we're just not sure he's right for SCOTUS."

At publishing time, McGregor had disputed the comments suggesting he was unfit to sit on the Supreme Court, calling his critics a long string of expletives."
