Should the government intervene to change people's views?

There is no entertainment medium in the world like Japan's anime industry but nothing about it is grounded in reality, They purposely avoid reflecting the real world because the otaku (Japanese anime fans) do not want reality or anything that resembles it.

Americans just do not get that.

Some Americans are very much into Japanese Anime, and attend the Otakon convention in Baltimore every year costumed as their favorite Anime characters:

In America animation is often considered to be a children's medium however in Japan it is completely opposite. Now the US Government funded the development a graphic novel about the Korean War. What if the US Government funded the development of adult oriented animation that cover serious topics like war or politics to help change American's views on animation. How about animated science fiction?

Graphic Novel | Korean War 60th Anniversary

Simple answer, no.

I hate to point this out here, but...WE are the government. All of us. Some of us have money and that buys influence, if you are white male slave owner like Thomas Jefferson was a slave owner or stock holder of a company that employs poor Chinese girls in sweatshops NOW. The options have gotten a little complicated , with this global thing. The Chinese used to be Communist and they are the ones that helped the North Koreans become such monsters. Nukes and rockets and starving peasants. This isn't going to end well.
