Your link is junk. The poll itself is just showing a bad day of polling. Read the actual article and even Rasmussen says that we will need to wait a while to see if this is a real change or if it was just a glitch. At the same time that Rasmussen and Gallup are showing Romney ahead nationally, most polls are showing Obama ahead in all of the important swing states, so obviously something is amiss.

Your link here doesn't work but in any event, if Rasmussen polled 1000 conservatives (as they usually do) and 44% of conservatives said they would vote for Obama, that is a shock and good news indeed!!

Yeah now that Republicans have a single presumptive nominee--you will start to see Romney's poll numbers go up. When he chooses a VP--and if they're well respected and thought of--it should put the final nail in the Obama campaign and 2nd term.
