It is a TACTIC. It is DELIBERATE. The media use it for political point scoring. This is not rocket science.

It goes beyond someone trying to make a name for themseles on youtube. These are major local and national news outlets that have to resort to ambush interviews because Tea Baggers refuse to talk to them.

It just amazes me that a tea bagger can tell a major news agency that they won't talk to them and somehow the public lets them get away with it

The media use one of two methods to speak to politicians. Firstly, they contact the office of the politician and request an interview - this may be live or pre-recorded. Sometimes, if the politician consistently refuses an interview OR if they have an ax to grind, they just send a crew to 'door-step' the politician. Now, unless you can prove the former, then you cannot claim that she was being evasive. She may, she may not. That is logic.

And... for the record... this tactic is used with Democrat politicians with equally suspicious results.

These are facts. Not my opinions. Fact - I know how the media work. I know they use this tactic deliberately to make politicians look bad.

You will find clips - from MAJOR networks (not someone 'out to make a name for themselves') showing this technique. It sucks. It sucks when it is done to a Democrat and it sucks when it is done to a "tea bagger". You're either too stupid or too partisan to understand basic facts.

Actually, that's not true either. Sometimes the questions are given in advance. Often they will agree subjects, but not questions. You can usually tell with Obama - and pretty much any other politician, which method has been used. Because they will be much more concise with pre-prepared questions. No politician uses a teleprompter with tv interviews.
