Sex is only for the rich in the US

If I have to pay for it then I'll send all those black girls to the charity which gets a lot of my donations - Project Prevention.

Project Prevention offers cash incentives to women and men addicted to drugs and/or alcohol to use long term or permanent birth control. Project Prevention is a National, 501 (C) 3 organization using your donations to stop a problem before it happens. We have paid addicts in 50 States and the District of Columbia.
Those poor, uneducated girls whose babies you want me to support can instead get their tubes tied. I'll pay for that.
Thing is, nothing is happening in many places, and it's still a problem.

You either deal with it, or pretend it doesn't exist and it costs you more.

Think about the costs associated with teenage pregnancies. Like higher crime rates and things like that.

I'm already paying, freely of my own volition, to provide birth control to some poor women. If young black girls want to get sterilized I'm happy to be charitable towards them.

ROFL yeah something really needs to be done about sex, it's just such a screwed up thing. ROFL Throwing money at libtards solves nothing.

Hey, you managed to go so far off topic, AND get an insult in. I suppose that counts as a good post for you.
I save my good posts for the deserving.

Really, would you like to show me an example of one of your "good posts".
No, you are not deserving.

The assumption in this thread is that teenagers are the ones in need of birth control. But statistics on abortion in the US show that over half of the women getting abortions are married or in a committed relationship, and that they already have one or more children. Three quarters of those seeking abortions are doing so because of financial reasons.

The conservatives in this thread talk about those who are having sex as irresponsible and brainless, but the reality is that it's poor couples who are most at risk of getting pregnant with a child they cannot afford. So in truth, what you are advocating is that married couples who cannot afford to have another child, should stop having sex.

And while the cost of birth control pills, or an IUD is relatively cheap, the doctor's appointments and tests necessary prior to receiving your prescription, are not.

You're not helping your case. It's one thing to point to impulsive teenagers out from under their parent's thumb and getting knocked up, but when the focus is on adults, I have absolutely no sympathy. They can do what adults from time immemorial have done - control themselves.

A vasectomy is pretty damn cheap. ObamaCare will pay for getting tubes tied. There, no more monthly expenses.

BBC News - Recreational sex is a rich person s game

"The US doesn't want poor people to have sex. Or rather, it has instituted policies that deny the economically disadvantaged easy access to low-cost birth control, either through insurance or publicly funded family planning programmes.'

""By process of elimination, the solution for low-income people is to never, ever have sex," she says. Enforced celibacy, it seems, is the hoped-for outcome."

"
While some on the right welcome what they see as a trend towards valuing virginity among teen girls, Rampell calls this kind of logic "magical thinking":

"The belief that we can get entire classes of Americans to practise abstinence until they're financially ready for marriage and children is a right-wing delusion on par with the left-wing delusions that go into socialism: both rely on a fundamental miscalculation about human nature. If the socialists wished to legislate away self-interest, the moralists wish to legislate away libido."

She concludes that it's just another example of the two Americas that live separate and side-by side, rich and poor."

Dr. Scott DesJarlais' is a great example of this. Stands FIRM against abortion until the married man knocked up his girlfriend.

Well isn't this a great debate?

Funny how you can take a debate and turn it into nothing in like 2 or 3 posts, isn't it?

Isn't this the point that the poor DO have to control themselves, and the rich don't.

Ie, sex is for the rich.

There was a time early in my life when I couldn't nail any girls. I was celibate and I didn't want to be. So, like the poor that you champion, I too had a problem. What do you liberals propose to do for teen boys who want some poon-tang but just can't swing the deal yet?

If teenage walking erections can control themselves, then older people should be able to do the same.

Simply because a problem can be identified, teen boys who want to have sex but can't find a girl willing to go along, doesn't mean that liberals have to create a task force and find a solution to that problem. Same goes with poor people needing to control their libidos until they can engage in protected intercourse.

As I noted earlier, get on your hotline to Liberal HQ and propose free sterilization as a policy. I'm pretty sure that if you announced that "Democrats want to get sterilized" that there'd be plenty of Republicans rushing forth with charitable donations to help your mission find success.

Well, the best solution would be, as in the case with sex issues, education.

Educate children to become functioning adults. Why do kids often have a problem with the other sex, or talking to people? Well there could be loads of reasons, but they should be learning to be articulate, have a brain of their own, and other such things in school.

It won't be 100% effective, nothing ever is, but it will make people better adults.

Well, the best solution would be, as in the case with sex issues, education.

Why do you keep harping on a solution which doesn't work?

What's the definition of insanity? Doing the same thing, exact, thing over and over again and expecting different outcomes.

Education doesn't work? Is this what they told the slaves?

Sure it does, even that masters thesis (was that you that presented it) said that education WORKS, that sex education that dealt with abstinence AND contraceptives saw the lowest levels of teenage pregnancy and STDs.
Whereas abstinence saw the highest.

Education, if done RIGHT works well. if it is done badly, it will be the worst.

Not my fault you dumb ass democrats never figure out that throwing money at problems does not solve them.

What is being touted as *education* by the progressive nutbags isn't education, it's indoctrination of the VERY YOUNG into the *joys of sex*. It's sex *ed* developed by the KINSEY institute, based on the depraved tastes and polling of criminals, perverts, and yup even Nazi war criminals, and meant to imprint and groom children to be sex toys for others.

End of story.

Oh dear!??! Hugging, holding hands and saying I like you is on this list. What a bunch of depraved people!!!

So is touching each others' genitals (the kids that are reading this are all underaged) and anal sex.

Progressives 100 percent approve grooming the very young. That way they don't tattle. After all, it's just good healthy sexuality, right?

Never mind that it's illegal. Soon it won't be illegal, and we'll be back to trading 12 year old boys and girls just like they did in the old days!

But heaven forbid someone suggest these kids get MARRIED before engaging in sex..that's just sick!

What is underaged to you?

Your problem doesnt seem to be with sex ed, your problem seems to be with the TYPE of sex and most likely you find it "offensive". Why is Anal so important to you?

And yes...in sex ed genitals making contact is covered. Are you surprised?
