Seems like the Dems can now pick the next house speaker

All the Dems need to do is pick a moderate Republican who can gain a handful of votes from his/her fellow Republicans and they can make that person the next speaker.

It would would completely take the wind out of the stunt that Matt Geatz and crew are fundraising off of and give the Dems a better opposition than the wingnuts like Jim Jordan would provide. Thoughts?

Hakeem Jeffries would be my 2nd choice.

He doesn’t have the votes. Dems should be strategic and actually help elect a Republican that isn’t a wingnut psycho. There are plenty of bipartisan committees im sure there are several moderate reps that would love the gavel
A wingnut psycho-
‘Anyone decent, sane, moral, normal, heterosexual, America First and in total opposition of all things left.’

Agree. If we don’t have the majority, it is pointless. If McCarthy couldn’t cut even when belonging to the majority party, how can the Dems.

It’s not up to Democrats – it would be up to Republicans to agree to such a plan.

Which they won’t.

Whoever it is, let's hope they can get the approval of congress up from 7% to at least 8%.

It's fun to pretend, but it's not going to be one of your favorite child molesters... especially THIS yard ape... :laughing0301:

This is what a dying party looks like.
Huh…WTF!
What, one that forces people to take experimental medicine they don’t want, one that opens our border to third world filth, one that colludes with a corrupt media and social media, one with the worst approval rating in history, one getting its ass kicked by a reality show host with bad hair and 91 charges against them?
That party?

No, the other one.

That doesn’t make any sense. The better strategy is to sit back and watch the GOP implode. The Democrats are zealots, radical and corrupt but they are unified and that gives them a tremendous advantage.
