So I thought I would try an upbeat thread.

Please list anything that Pres Obama has done, not done, that you liked and why.

I liked that he celebrated Pres Reagans 100th birthday with Nancy Reagan. I felt that that showed a deep respect for the Presidents that came before him.

i meant he isn't them ... politically. in other words, he's better than what was offered.

what do i like that he did? well, he appointed better justices than a repub would have, for one. he brought down the troop numbers in iraq... he got the israelis and palestinians sort of talking again... and he picked hillary for secy of state. he doesn't overreact to provocations and dialed down the rhetoric internationally.
