Say "Merry Christmas", Not "Happy Holidays"

I am Jew, so Merry Christmas to my Christian brothers and sisters.

Merry Christmas to you too.

Some people, stores, companies, etc have replaced the words "Merry Christmas", with Happy holidays.

There is no reason for that, and everyone ought say "Merry Christmas", over the next 4 days.

‘Happy holidays’ merely refers to the various days of observance during December and January – it’s an inclusive recognition of Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, along with other religious days and festivals.

‘Merry Christmas’ has not been ‘replaced.’

Yes, but why should that stop them from chanting, "You will not replace us!"? And for that purpose, while any Holiday greeting should be about the well-being and the happiness of the addressee, they take great caution to screw a very, ostentatiously Christian thumb into everybody's eye. And then they let everybody know how giddy they are about that.

It's the Christian thing to do.

You missed the point. This thread is about the NON-Christian side of Christmas.

And yes, "Merry "Christmas" has been replaced by "Happy holidays" in many places (the NFL, many TV networks, etc)
