It is estimated that there are over 100,000 members of private militia organizations in the USA. Canada has about 40,000 members in its actual army. Germany has about 60,000. I found almost nothing on their private militias. Per capita, Canada should have about 11,000 private militia members and Germany should have about 25,000. To me, that says something about those countries.

LOL- what does it say to you? That "something" is pretty ambiguous- e.g.we should have an intellectually honest electorate- what does that say? To me it says our gov't mandated education system sucks.

To the OT- I don't think it's a secret that NATO is messed up- LOL

Those countries have let themselves grow weak. We need to look for stronger allies who are willing to defend themselves.

Washington and Jefferson. Are you familiar with those names? They believed, in their wisdom of foreign entanglements, that that "we" should trade with all and ally with none- and yes they, and everyone country in the world, should defend themselves- again, referring to the founders and their beliefs, they didn't put a provision in the constitution for intervening in the affairs of sovereign nations- of course we do- mainly because "we" don't subscribe to sovereign anything- I wonder why-

Northern climates make people more socialistic.
wait just a dang minute- I thought all the people coming here from SOUTH of the border are socialist-

Most of them are escaping their shithole countries and want a better life. We just can't afford to take all of them without dragging our country into the same hole.

Who said anything about intervening in their affairs? I said leave NATO and let them fend for themselves. However, we should ally ourselves with Russia. Together, we would control almost the entire nuclear arsenal on the planet.

Trade with all, ally with none- none = nobody- foreign entanglements lead to our intervening (see the middle east, Vietnam, Japan and Germany) for evidence- and I trust the founders more than anyone alive today- including you and especially politicians-
