Sarah Palin: Trump's Carrier deal is 'crony capitalism'

Who says that Trump is favoring Carrier?
How do we not know that Trump isn't favoring legislation, ie lower taxes and regs, that would entice ALL U.S. companies to stay here?
Palin may now join Sanders in the political boneyard. Stupid asses.

The liberals fake news....

Well, Trump is not a conservative
But he played one on TV.

There it is again: The holy, god-given law that there may be no intervention in the market. So it is a bad thing that Trump saved many jobs even before he was sworn in. It is, now it comes:

"SOCIALISM"!

Evil! May those Americans find a new job, or two. Or Food stamps. Wait, no Food stamps. They are:

"SOCIALISM"!
There is hardly a state in the union that does not use its taxing power to attract business.
Indiana is giving Carrier a whopping $700k per per year for 10 years to keep those jobs in Indianapolis.
The fact is if Trump or any other Republican had ENCOURAGED Carrier to move all the jobs out, the lefties would be all over this....
Here´s the same and the bigger the company the lower the tax payed. They have actual tax performances of about 1 % and even less because they distribute their revenue to off-shoots abroad and claim low income or even losses in Germany using the tax laws.

well no cabinet post for you palin

Another conservative is calling “crony capitalism” on Donald Trump’s deal with Carrier, albeit an unexpected one — Sarah Palin.

In an op-ed for the website Young Conservatives, the former Alaska governor allowed that the details behind the manufacturer’s decision to keep some 1,000 jobs in Indiana at the president-elect’s behest, rather than move them to Mexico, are not yet clear. But touting the value of free markets, Palin signaled her disapproval if it was a case of “political intrusion using a stick or carrot to bribe or force one individual business to do what politicians insist.”

“When government steps in arbitrarily with individual subsidies, favoring one business over others, it sets inconsistent, unfair, illogical precedent,” she asserted.

Sarah Palin: Trump's Carrier deal is 'crony capitalism'

Interesting. At least one GOP'er willing to admit that Trump's newfound love of big labor may not have won over the tradtionally anti-labor Republican Party.

btw, I think her husband, 'Todd', is a member of the steelworkers' union that represents at least some Carrier workers.
What does her husband Todd's being a member of the steelworkers union have to do with anything at all with carrier?

I remember very well, the Trump tools crying endlessly about crony capitalism a very short time ago. Now, they are defending crony capitalism. You easily manipulated no-minds have zero convictions. I'm so glad I'm not you.
I remember when this deal was not being referred to as crony capitalism, but now that Sarah Palin said it, the left loves it and thats all that we will hear about for weeks to come. Crony Capitalism..
Talk about an easily manipulated no-mind herd of sheep with zero convictions. The liberals certainly take center stage on this one.

They got 7 million a year in incentives, IN keeps 21.5 million in State income tax and the feds keep 19.5 million in income taxes by keeping those jobs in the US. Who got the better deal?
Mexico, they got 1,300 new jobs.

Dems aren't allowed to speak ill of their leaders, they can't understand why Palin is allowed to criticize Trump

Any proof there is a prior relationship between UT and Trump?
Tramp owns enough stock in UT to net between $2,501 and $5,000 in interest per year according to Tramp's 2015 and 2016 FEC filings.

Palin will rip you fascist democrats to shreds....

You are right, it would be endless entertainment.....

I'm not a fascist democrat comrade, I'm a socialist who's glad that Trump "won" instead of the psychotic, warmongering, wall street princess

But now that orange clown has been selected I'm hoping for the best entertainment possible and that includes Sarah. Too bad Carson declined, he should be in charge of education....

:spinner:

Unless you are a carrier customer.

Meh, not really. Then you guy a Trane or a Rheem...

My family has been involved in the sheet metal industry for 70 years now... three generations. If you want to talk about a full of shit industry, it's that one. The cost of the furnace is minimal compared to all the grifters out there who will stick it to the consumer in the middle if they don't know who to ask.

You really think any of that is going to happen.

Welfare for rich people. Of course you are all for it.

Not to worry, all the other companies will be along with their hands out, looking for tax breaks to NOT move to Mexico.
