The Denver Post reports the campaign appearance by Sandra Fluke shows "the importance of the women's vote" in Colorado, a key swing state in the presidential election.

Fluke was called a "slut" and "prostitute" by radio talk-show host Rush Limbaugh because she supported the Obama mandate requiring health insurance companies to offer birth control coverage.

"Obama is committed to rebuilding our economy upon the values of fairness and opportunity and the belief that all Americans, both men and women, must have the rights they deserve," she wrote in a column for CNN.


Obama, who won Colorado in 2008, will also be in Grand Junction, Pueblo and Colorado Springs on Wednesday.
