Sanders Surges Clinton Sags in U.S. Favorability
PRINCETON, N.J. -- Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders' favorable rating among Americans has doubled since Gallup's initial reading in March, rising to 24% from 12% as he has become better known. Hillary Clinton's rating has slipped to 43% from 48% in April. At the same time, Clinton's unfavorable rating increased to 46%, tilting her image negative and producing her worst net favorable score since December 2007.
The right wing of the Republican Party has spent over a year attacking the character of Sect. Clinton based on her being a candidate for POTUS. Once she announced the heat got hotter and the e-mail controversy became the one decided upon by the propaganda machine in their effort to kill her campaign.
Notice policy issues are absent, and the focus is directed at re litigating President Clinton's impeachment, not his acquittal and made up scandals; there is no mention of the fact that Sect. and former Senator and First Lady Clinton has the most experience of any candidate from either party.
As Sen. Sanders moves up in popularity, we can expect the word "Socialist" to be screamed hysterically far and wide. The ignorant base will echo it far and wide on the Internet as Limbaugh and the other propagandists begin their work to assassinate his character too.
Keep in mind the Republican Party is devoid of ideas on how to improve our nation. Listen to them, they are all curmudgeonly, each with their finger in the wind trying to appeal to the most opinionated and ignorant of their base.
There is one exception, as there was last time. But the radical element which dominates the Republican Party today will reject him as a RINO, His ideas are little different than those of Sen. Sanders. Funny isn't it, the radical right could be cut out of the 2016 election.
