If he keeps up the way he's been doing as of late, definitely. Bernie and Hillary are actually talking about the issues and what they would do specifically as President, while the GOP candidates are bickering like little kids in the sandbox who don't want to share the toys.

The US cannot go bankrupt. There is no Balloon payment due on the debt, and there is no way the government would allow a run on the debt. Much of the debt is held by the government itself (Social Security & the Fed for example) and of that held by foreign nations about half is held by our friendly allies.

Notwithstanding the right wing meme and the rhetoric we hear from the clown car, the US and its economy is now strong, and still the place wherein people concerned about world events park their money.
