8 U.S. Code § 1324 - Bringing in and harboring certain aliens

1 (A) Any person who—

(iii) knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that an alien has come to, entered, or remains in the United States in violation of law, conceals, harbors, or shields from detection, or attempts to conceal, harbor, or shield from detection, such alien in any place, including any building or any means of transportation;

shall be punished as provided in subparagraph (B)

(B)A person who violates subparagraph (A) shall, for each alien in respect to whom such a violation occurs—

(ii)
in the case of a violation of subparagraph (A) (iii), be fined under title 18, imprisoned not more than 5 years, or both;

As such, California governor, Jerry Brown and all those in the California legislature who voted for their new Values Act, should be arrested, tried, convicted, and imprisoned in the nearest federal prison, for 5 years(minimum). Under some circumstances, the penalty could be more severe.

Prosecution couldn't be easier. There's no doubt These guys are all on record as violating federal law, by virtue of their having passed this idiot state law.

So get to work, Jeff Sessions. There's no reason to delay. The same goes for any city or county sanctuary leaders anywhere in the US, who have ludicrously passed legislation blatantly violating federal law. If Sessions doesn't act on this forcefully and quickly, President Trump should voice loud disapproval. Sessions has been under fire for being too nice, too cooperative (with criminals), and just too darn soft.

Here's a chance for him to show he's really up to the job of US Attorney General. Just DO YOUR JOB, Jeff.

If Sessions doesn't get this job done, he ought to be fired and replaced by someone who will.

They aren't bringing anyone in and are usually ensuring due process within their jurisdiction.

Immigration is not a State obligation since 1808.

Because we have had criminal presidents in charge of the Dept of Justice (Clinton, Bush, Obama) Only now have we got a president who is in tune with US law. Finally.

No but those people are Illegal, for Leftists being Illegal is the opposite of being Legal, I know you have trouble comprehending that, so as they are Illegal they have already violated American law and those who harbour them are then also violating American law by harbouring criminals, for Leftists again criminals are people who break the law, Illegals are criminals.

Because the three previous administrations have been sympathetic, and no one in this one has yet shown the spine to stop it. Hopefully, Trump will become harsh.

Means nothing within a State. States have no obligation since 1808.

The federal government should solve our problem at the federal borders, not internally.

Our prisons are full of illegals. Our wars on crime, drugs, and terror only benefit those wealthy enough to invest in for-profit prisons.

i think that I have mentioned this before, Protect. Don't give up your day job to practice law. There is nothing illegal about city, state, or county law enforcement authorities failure to enforce federal law. Being in county law enforcement myself, I am forbidden to enforce federal law. I would be fired if I tried to do it.

Mayors of Sanctuary Cities and Governors of Sanctuary States need to be tried for treason.
Jeff Sessions is blowing smoke up everyone's butt by going after states that allow marijuana, his time would be much better spent going after these traitors,

This isn't about you enforcing federal law. It is about anyone BREAKING federal law by concealing, harboring, or shielding from detection, or attempts to conceal, harbor, or shield from detection, illegal aliens. Got it ?

The OP corrected you. Try reading it, so you don't make the same mistake again. Read the link (LAW) also.

PS - you could be held responsible for breaking US law, no mater what your criminal superiors order you to do, under threat of being fired. You are obligated to follow federal law, not them. If they ordered you to jump off a bridge, hopefully wont do that.

The Sanctuary City issue just shows everyone once again the Racist Democratic Party wants to displace White Voters with third world welfare moochers

Prot., look up the definition of harboring, etc., etc., etc. "Sanctuary Cities" don't do any of those things. All they do is decline to enforce federal law. Any federal law enforcement agent who shows up at our jail or court with a valid warrant is welcome to take any suspect into custody. Nobody will stop them from doing their job. We just won't do their job for them.This is basic 8th grade civics stull Prot.
