Sanctuary Leaders Must Be Imprisoned

i think that I have mentioned this before, Protect. Don't give up your day job to practice law. There is nothing illegal about city, state, or county law enforcement authorities failure to enforce federal law. Being in county law enforcement myself, I am forbidden to enforce federal law. I would be fired if I tried to do it.

This isn't about you enforcing federal law. It is about anyone BREAKING federal law by concealing, harboring, or shielding from detection, or attempts to conceal, harbor, or shield from detection, illegal aliens. Got it ?

The OP corrected you. Try reading it, so you don't make the same mistake again. Read the link (LAW) also.
It helps to know what you're talking about.

8 U.S. Code § 1324 - Bringing in and harboring certain aliens

PS - you could be held responsible for breaking US law, no mater what your criminal superiors order you to do, under threat of being fired. You are obligated to follow federal law, not them. If they ordered you to jump off a bridge, hopefully wont do that.

Totally false. Turn off your AM radio.

BTW, Prot. i also occasionally volunteer with Operation Samaritans. We take water, food, clothing and medication out into the desert down here in S. AZ for illegal aliens. As long as we do not give them a ride, or try to hide them, we are not only not breaking the law, the border patrol works with us, knowing that if we find an illegal who wants to give himself up because he is injured, or dying from exposure, we radio to them where to pick up the alien. We work with them all the time.

Green Valley-Sahuarita Samaritans

"ISN'T IT ILLEGAL?
No. Samaritans is an entirely overt organization providing humanitarian assistance. Border Patrol and ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) agents are aware of what we do. We strive to build and maintain cooperative relationships with them. We Search only in areas that are open to us and do not trespass onto private land.

REMEMBER: IT IS NEVER ILLEGAL TO PROVIDE WATER, FOOD & MEDICAL ASSISTANCE TO ANOTHER HUMAN BEING IN DISTRESS."

You are hopelessly illiterate about the law, Protect.

Means nothing within a State. States have no obligation since 1808.

The federal government should solve our problem at the federal borders, not internally.
FALSE! Federal law applies to EVERYONE in the USA. Period.

Have you been watching CNN ?
There is no crime, drugs or terror clause in our federal Constitution.

No need to do that; States have no obligation regarding immigration into the States since 1808.

It is a Union job now.

That's the law. And here it is >>>

8 U.S. Code § 1324 - Bringing in and harboring certain aliens

1 (A) Any person who—

(iii) knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that an alien has come to, entered, or remains in the United States in violation of law, conceals, harbors, or shields from detection, or attempts to conceal, harbor, or shield from detection, such alien in any place, including any building or any means of transportation;

shall be punished as provided in subparagraph (B)

(B)A person who violates subparagraph (A) shall, for each alien in respect to whom such a violation occurs—

(ii)
in the case of a violation of subparagraph (A) (iii), be fined under title 18, imprisoned not more than 5 years, or both;

As such, California governor, Jerry Brown and all those in the California legislature who voted for their new Values Act, should be arrested, tried, convicted, and imprisoned in the nearest federal prison, for 5 years(minimum). Under some circumstances, the penalty could be more severe.

Prosecution couldn't be easier. There's no doubt These guys are all on record as violating federal law, by virtue of their having passed this idiot state law.

So get to work, Jeff Sessions. There's no reason to delay. The same goes for any city or county sanctuary leaders anywhere in the US, who have ludicrously passed legislation blatantly violating federal law. If Sessions doesn't act on this forcefully and quickly, President Trump should voice loud disapproval. Sessions has been under fire for being too nice, too cooperative (with criminals), and just too darn soft.

Here's a chance for him to show he's really up to the job of US Attorney General. Just DO YOUR JOB, Jeff.

If Sessions doesn't get this job done, he ought to be fired and replaced by someone who will.

The rightwing myth of the ‘sanctuary city.’

Local jurisdictions are at liberty to allocate law enforcement resources as they see fit – such as not unilaterally detaining undocumented immigrants.

If requested by Federal authorities to assist with detaining an undocumented immigrant, local jurisdictions will comply.

But local jurisdictions cannot be compelled to enforce Federal law, and local jurisdictions electing to not use their law enforcement resources to detain those undocumented does not render them ‘sanctuary cities.’

Mayors of Sanctuary Cities and Governors of Sanctuary States need to be tried for treason.
Jeff Sessions is blowing smoke up everyone's butt by going after states that allow marijuana, his time would be much better spent going after these traitors,
Immigration is not a State obligation since 1808.
So states do not have to enforce federals now?
States cannot make immigration law but the have to enforce what is on the books.

States have no authority over immigration since 1808. It is a federal problem that should be solved at the federal borders.

THE LAW is what renders them as being sanctuary cities. An ILLEGAL act >>

Not over immigration. It is no longer a State obligation since 1808.

And, the federal government should solving this problem at the borders, not the State interiors.
Are you insane, or just incredibly stupid ? States, cities, counties. individuals (including public officials - especially them) are required to obey federal law. Federal prisons are filled with people who said what you are absurdly saying.

Try reading the law. >> 8 U.S. Code § 1324 - Bringing in and harboring certain aliens

Not over immigration; the several States have no obligation since 1808. It says so in our federal Constitution and supreme law of the land.

You go out and violate federal law, and tell the FBI, you have "no obligation since 1808" to abide by it. and watch how fast they throw you in jail.

You harbor illegal aliens, you do prison time.

Sessions: do your job!
