i think that I have mentioned this before, Protect. Don't give up your day job to practice law. There is nothing illegal about city, state, or county law enforcement authorities failure to enforce federal law. Being in county law enforcement myself, I am forbidden to enforce federal law. I would be fired if I tried to do it.
This isn't about you enforcing federal law. It is about anyone BREAKING federal law by concealing, harboring, or shielding from detection, or attempts to conceal, harbor, or shield from detection, illegal aliens. Got it ?

PS - you could be held responsible for breaking US law, no mater what your criminal superiors order you to do, under threat of being fired. You are obligated to follow federal law, not them. If they ordered you to jump off a bridge, hopefully wont do that.
