Russia went in to assist South Ossetia against Georgia who had attacked them after a bitter battle for separation.

If you don't get it:

Whether or not Russia intends on leaving Georgia, indicates nothing about who started the war. Your statement makes no sense.

BTW, Georgia did start the war and in doing so violated a treaty. The geneva convention gives Russia the right to protect it's citizens thru the use of military force.

But I forget, treaties, logic, right & wrong mean nothing to the wingers.

OMG! We are not dealing with a real government here. It's mafia organization who obviously has no problem with telling the rest of the world where to get off.
