Romney says no abortion legislation.

Why is this a surprise to anyone? During the 6 years the GOP had total control of the federal government, both Houses of Congress and the White House, they didn't introduce not one single, solitary bill to overturn or even ameliorate Roe v. Wade. Not one! When they had the chance, they gave the finger to the Pro-life crowd who put them into office.

Gee whiz, people. How many times can you be conned by dishonest rhetoric?

They are not cheering the move to the center, they are cheering that a guy who looked like a sure loser two weeks ago is all of a sudden within grasp of the presidency.

They are excited, as they sure should be!

These are same sort of people who said McCain lost because he was too moderate. Now they cheer Romney on for every phoney move he makes to the left.

And you would be wrong yet again. Don't you ever get tirted of being wrong?

Conservatives didn't say McCain lost because he was too moderate?

What fuckwit planet do you live on?

Planned Parenthood =/= Abortion.

Say what you mean. In English.

I'll try to make it as simple as possible.

Romney said he had no plans that addressed abortion.

You implied that his plan to defund Planned Parenthood proves he's lying.

Planned Parenthood =/= Abortion (planned parenthood is not equal to abortion)
\

Why do you make me repost irrefutable facts? Do you think that's cute?

From Romney's pro-life pledge:

And as president, I will support efforts to prohibit federal funding for any organization like Planned Parenthood, which primarily performs abortions or offers abortion-related services.

and

I will advocate for and support a Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act to protect unborn children who are capable of feeling pain from abortion.

So there's 2 of his 'plans' that address abortion, and, btw,

both of them currently have legislation pending.

It's pointed out that Romney said no such thing.

Allow me to point out that you are a liar. Yes, Romney did say as much.

The Associated Press: Conservatives remind Romney of abortion pledge

The head of the anti-abortion group Susan B. Anthony List distributed an article Romney penned last summer vowing to prohibit federal funding for Planned Parenthood, while backing legislation that would "protect unborn children who are capable of feeling pain from abortion." In the June 2011 article, Romney also expressed support for the reversal of Roe v. Wade, the landmark Supreme Court ruling that legalized abortion.

Watch Romney on Video: "Planned Parenthood, we're going to get rid of that."

Romney is not a flip flopper. The American people have different ideas about things and Romney is so American that he supports both sides. We have never had an American candidate that is so flexible and so willing to support all Americans and all their beliefs and ideas no matter what. This technique is completely new in American politics, and at one time it was called lying but now we see that Romney wants to be the president of all the people so he is completley flexible. The big question is now, is Ryan part of the new flexible Republican party or is he the old fashioned type?

Another Romney patented lie! He keeps up his attack on women, he will be known as the American Taliban.

The only thing I have heard Romney say concerning planned parenthood, is that he would stop federal funding of the organization

Romney aborted his original position on abortion,

got pregnant with a new position, then aborted that one, then got a third position on abortion yesterday,

and that was aborted by his handlers who promptly artificially inseminated him with the previous position.

(...but don't call that last move legitimate rape...)

We are 16 trillion in red ink--headed over a fiscal cliff--the American workforce is SHRINKING--and some people want to go back 40 YEARS to Roe v Wade? Liberal democrats bring up abortion every single election year.

Roe V Wade is in the constitution of the United States--via the U.S. Supreme court--who are the ONLY ones that can do anything about it--which they won't anyway. I can't remember a case in the history of the court--where one U.S. Supreme court overturned another U.S. Supreme court decision.

You just witnessed what happened in the U.S. Supreme court with Obamacare. A G.W. Bush appointee upheld it.

HERE IS ROMNEY'S STANCE ON ABORTION:

During a 2007 debate, Romney was asked if he would sign legislation to ban “all abortion” — assuming, hypothetically, that Roe v. Wade had been overturned. He said he’d be “delighted to sign it,” if there was a national consensus for it. But, he said, “that’s not where America is today.” Meanwhile, Romney made clear — both before and after that debate — that his fuller position was that he opposes abortion except in cases of rape, incest or to save the life of the mother.

You forget about the amendment process, which can override the court. Also the idea you have that a court decsion puts something "in" the consitution is wrong. The court is supposed to interpret items ALREADY in the consitution, not make up new items.
