Hmmm....... 7, 15, and 21. For President Obama. Wouldn't Romney like some bad polls like that.

Wow, February poll? That works, Dems can sit back in Illinois, no need to worry, most of you can sit home on election day and not worry.

Sorry for the joke, but these numbers are a joke, only a real idiot would believe these are good numbers.

The government are the biggest criminal syndicate we have.
And that's our fault, because we have allowed this to happen.

Government is merely a reflection of it's citizens. If there is corruption in government, it is because there is corruption in our own lives. If we want a better government, we have to become a better society.

At least that's what Wilt would say.

Yes it is our fault. The point is that there's plenty of blame for Democrats and Republicans. We can argue about who is worse; but we know they're both f'd up.

The let's not play partisan politics and vote long time incumbents out. We can change government but we need to hold them accountable and quit being greedy.

Yesterday Standard and Poor lowered Illinois credit rating from A+ to "A," jus a single itch above Califofnia. It's rating was also given a negative outlook by S&P.

Also its ratio of assets to obligations in its pension system is the lowest of any state, according to S&P. Their analysts also cited concerns about billions of dollars in other debt, and the looming expiration of an income-tax rate increase, at the end of 2014. Not that higher tax rates do much to make taxpayers happy, but rating agencies at least see a willingness

Not that higher tax rates do much to make taxpayers happy, and higher taxes raise concerns with everybody, including voters, about some large employers like Caterpiller might leave; they already have one foot out the door.

Pretty sure citizens of Illinois are aware that the Obama administration sat on trade treaty legislation with Columbia because he was afraid to offend his labor base, all the while union workers at Caterpiller were shrinking away jobs. He did finally sign it, not in the Rose Garden, as you'd expect since it was his first big trade agreement, but he did a private signing to keep it under wraps; talk about conflicted...

The election of Republican Senator Mark Kirk, from the US House to Obama's former seat might be a sign that Illinois voters have begun to get fed up with Democrat governmance there. Maybe they were taking a clue from the surrounding states with Republican governors, which are doing better than Illinois; like Indiana, Ohio, Wisconsin . . . all who are eating their lunch.

I have no doubt that IL could go red. They just have to beat the corruption.

I am not denying that Obama will win big in my state, but did you look at the dates of the polls you posted. Most recent was feb and the others were 2011!!!
RealClearPolitics - Election 2012 - Illinois: Romney vs. Obama

Obama was doing better in the 2011 polls head to head with Romney than 2012.
