Rolling Stone’s top 10 greatest guitarists

wasn't Mick Taylor better than Keith?

but the title is GREATEST.....

ok... what does Great mean?

impact on Guitar playing?......best means how good you are.....Hendrix was not the Best.....there are guys out there who can play circles around him......as far as being the Greatest,it seems that for some reason he is automatically no 1......i feel these kind of polls should be done by decade.....but thats just me.....

That goes without saying. How Keith makes the list is mindboggling.

I would replace him with good old Harvey. With all the sound-alike guitarists out there, you can easily pick Harvey out of a crowd. He has his own sound.

What is Keith Richards' distinctive sound? The other 9 DO have their own sound, but not Keith! He is basically a rhythm guitarist. And not even a distinctive rhythm guitarist.

The guitar soloist on this track is unnamed. Three guesses who it is, and the first two don't count.

if you look at old videos of the Stones in the 60's.....Keith played a lot of the Solos.....but i will agree with you....he should not be in the top 10 as a player.....as a composer,yes.....

That is with two fingers damaged from a burn incident that nearly killed Django when he was a teen.
