He is one hot guitarist. I love listening to him play.

Ive always felt like Clapton was overrated. Maybe he was just before my time, but i dont see his influence in guitar today. Toni Iommi isnt the greatest guitarist by any means, but hes probably the godfather of metal guitar. So many bands take after his style of riffs, even still to this day.

same here,i felt Jeff Beck and Michael Bloomfield and Ritchie Blackmore and i know there are a few more,who at that time (66-71) were better than Eric....and as far as Iommi,many forget that the guy was playing with a handicap....his fingertips got cut off.....so he had that to deal with.....
