I think the right wing wants to snatch away the "Number One" crown from China. Because of pollution, they are number one in birth defects. Republicans feel we can beat them if we just get rid of that awful EPA.

Except that stem cell research continued on.

You see, if the money is NOT being spent by government, then the programs don't exist. Take the little rant by the fucking moron in this thread. Republicans want to slash education! Its a nice little sound bite. Except that isn't what Republicans want at all. They just want you to pay for you own education and not borrow money from the taxpayer. You see, if government isn't spending the money, then it doesn't exist.

This is what passes for the 'educated' among us.

Some people just want a better country. And a strong middle class. You can't look at Republican policies and say they want either. Slashing education, ending daycare and abolishing the EPA would be an awfully funny way of showing the love.

And they want special tax breaks and money for favors, see GE, Solyndra, GM and so on.

Buffett takes every allowable deduction, he has to be made by the government to pay more, he only wants taxed on earned and not passive income. Buffett wants to make it harder to climb up the social ladder to where he is.
