If businesses back the Tea Party, but most Americans don't, what does that tell us?

Tea Party did not sign its death warrant with the shutdown.

turns out the tea party was right about obamacare

It's easy to complain about the Tea Party, but if you look what they stand for, it's a lot of common sense. They are for lowering taxes, less government, and cutting spending. But they are more rigid in negotiations where they have to be more pragmatic and open to compromising.

Fascism and the destruction of the nation is not something to stand for, and if you do, you should move to a right wing utopia like Iran.

I've yet to see anyone here who complains about the tea party have a clue what they actually stand for. but that is typical of the partisan political left wing hacks who post here

Of course they love the tea party, American big business created and bankrolled the whole thing from the start and will continue to pump megabucks into it. At this point they are so corporately indoctrinated that it is difficult to get them admit wrongdoing by anyone in an expensive suit.

Yet donations are down. From NewsMax:

So it appears the right didn't get completely cut off, but donations are way down, something like 60-70%.
Where businesses had ultimate concerns, wasn't primarily Obamacare, but entire world business community really hated how close the Tea Party went in causing a default. All one has to do is do a Google search to find out what the world's financial leaders thought of that move..
