Republicans who don’t watch Fox News have dramatically different views than Republicans who do

Does it say anything about moonbats who get their "news" from Raw Story, HuffingGlue, Buzzfeed, and Daily Kooks, versus those who don't?

Studies show a large percentage of leftylibs get the majority of their information from the backs of cereal boxes, Frootloops being the favorite.

‘Alternate reality’: Republicans who don’t watch Fox News have dramatically different views than Republicans who do

Republicans who don’t watch Fox News have markedly different political views than Republicans who do, according to a new poll.

Nearly eight in 10 Republicans — 78 percent — who watch the conservative news network say President Donald Trump is the most successful president in history, compared to just 49 percent of Republicans who don’t watch Fox News, according to poll results reported by The Daily Beast.

The results were provided to the website by Navigator, a project launched by Democratic groups Global Strategy Group and GBA strategies, and show the network’s influence on its viewers.

The survey’s authors say Fox News presents an “alternative reality” to its largely conservative viewers, and plays an “outsize role” in shaping the political and even scientific views for a significant portion of American voters.

For example, Republicans who don’t watch are nearly twice as likely to believe climate change is driven by human activity, compared to just 12 percent of Republicans who do watch Fox News.

Nearly the same percentage of Republican Fox News viewers — 79 percent — who believe Trump is the most accomplished president ever also believe the FBI and U.S. intelligence agencies are trying to sabotage the president.

Slightly less than half — 49 percent — of non-Fox News Republicans believe Trump was the victim of such a conspiracy, and just 8 percent of registered voters who don’t watch the network agree.

“Where Republican partisan affiliation and the Fox News echo-chamber overlap, there is near unanimity on the politics and even the facts defining the Trump presidency,” the poll’s authors say. “This is the ‘FoxHole.’ What the Navigator data demonstrates is this particular segment of the public is so vastly different from the rest, it may serve progressives best to focus their attention on everyone else.”

Interestingly, the poll also found that Fox News viewers are far more aware of progressive issues, such as the Green New Deal, than those who get their news elsewhere, because the network relentlessly pillory such proposals.

My question is, how many of you USMB Republicans/, rightwingers and other assorted conservatives watch FOXNEWS, and if you don't does your views differ any from the folks in your circle that do?
I suspect most Republicans on the USMB watch Fox News.

Kind of a low hurdle to jump over.

Have you tried higher hurdles?

How many Democrats read National Review Online?

Some daytime Fox cable news shows are different. Cavuto put Trump through the mud yesterday. Shepard Smith tells it like it is, along with Bret Baier. That is about it.

Early morning Fox and Friends and primetime 8-11 is what the Trump lovers and Trump love. The weekend shows are crap.

I have to force myself to watch Hannity (Donna Brazile owned him on his show) Carlson and Ingram , one has to know the propaganda they float and do they ever. I can barely stomach Hannity or Ingraham, YUCK, but you must know what they are pushing.

Uh huh. Sure.

Looks like you force yourself to watch Fox all damn day.

I posted 2 different links.

Raw story? Lol
ok raw story aint so great, but the actual story is from the daily beast, which has better rating.
But what really matters is who did the polling. GBA strategies has a B rating from 538, and is least biased polling.
Read the survey and their strategy, then tell me that. I posted links.
You just posted link to survey report. Where are the leading questions?

And I would say that Dimocrats who do not get their information from places such as MSNBC, are likely much more moderate and reasonable than the Dims that do watch.

The left needs to stop their continual whining about FOX NEWS. In a heartbeat I would trade them FOX NEWS for the monopoly they have on the rest of the MSM.

The left reminds me of the little bratty kid who has the entire toy box to himself, then throws a tantrum when a playmate shows up with a single toy.

Fox news is apart of the Establishment's media. They know that the Republicans are not going to listen to the Left news outlets. And so they sends in the Fox. They're there to get the Republicans trust. Trying to over power Pres.Trump's Tweet. And once they snare all of the Republicans with their sweet words. Then they'll say, "Pres.Trump doesn't need Twitter no more. It is because he have us to spread the truth." And be hoping for the Republicans to become accustom to listening to them, rather than focusing on Pres.Trump's Tweets. Republicans better read the President's Tweets every morning with a cup of cocoa. And before they go to bed, for real news.

I don't watch Fox News however the site you linked seems pretty biased as well.

I wonder if the same is true of those that watch MSNBC, I would think so because the left wing nuts seem to flock to MSNBC and they like Fox are or used to be the extreme.
Good for you that you don't.

A few years ago a study came out that stated that people who watch FOXNEWS are less informed than those who watch no news at all.

At least you got enough sense not to fall into that category.

You just admitted that people who rely on MSM news without vetting establish left wing views due to conditioning.
Good for you!

What is interesting is that those that listed Fox generally listed five other sources that they watched, listened to or read. I do know that people will only hear or believe what they want to believe. To me that is dangerous thinking as there are two sides to every issue and the answers are not just right or left but a blend.

However, liberals all have the same point of view.

If you can’t handle the message, you attack the messenger. We see it again and again. That’s what Republicans do. That’s what they’re expected to do. And they don’t disappoint.
We see the left attacking the right with their hate and ignorance every day. Then they complain about violence. But when someone makes fun of a bias poll and those who try to make points with it the left goes even flackier.

Oh bullshit. It's isn't just the left attacking Cult45. They have all that shit, and more, coming.

In other breaking news people who don't watch NBC, ABC, CBS, MSNBC , have a job pay taxes , who did not come from monkeys and were created in the image of God vote Republican

.

If not the left then who is saying things like gather a group don't let them eat, don't let them buy gas? Who confronted the Covington kids? Who is refusing to allow people to eat in their establishments? Who are throwing drinks on young people wearing make America great hats? Do you really mean to tell me that ANTIFA is right wing?

Look at who on this forum calls people cult 45. Look at who on this forum calls others trumpettes. Look at you just now saying they all that and more coming. Why because they do not adhere to your partisan mind set?

No, they are traitorous bastards that deserve nothing but derision and contempt every minute of every day from Americans.
