A lot of us said it would happen, but the arrogant ignored it, and they will pay for it with their jobs.

And the kicker is most of it will be repealed.

I would like to see the stuff about not cutting people off or turning them down for pre -exisisting conditions to stay, the rest can be burned.

Nah, screw those sick people. They shouldn't be permitted to purchase insurance if they are sick. That just raises the cost for all the healthy people. And letting the insurance companies dump those who get sick helps keep rates lower for everyone else. Seriously, to really reduce costs, they should just pass a law requiring the euthanasia of anyone who becomes sick. This would save a lot of money.

While I know this is all tongue in cheek.. I would ask what auto insuarnce costs would be like if you could go uninsured and purchase it AFTER you had an accident to cover said acident?

You know I wonder, IF republicans gain control of either branch of congress, will they be so beholding to polls when they are the ones making the decisions?? Will they follow "the will of the people" according to the polls on EVERY single piece of legislation or will they go their own way?? Will republicans from this day forward follow EVERY poll to discern the "will of the people" and follow them accordingly??

The Socialist/Progressive nutters and corrupt Liberal Press seem to be the only ones celebrating the Democrat Health Care Nightmare. Most of America did not support their nightmare. Hopefully the People will have their say in coming elections. Make 2010 count.

8 months to November. Economy, exterior politics, natural disasters, health matters of present leaders. All of these can completely change the dynamics of an election. I will worry about the Dems chances in October.

In the meantime, the Dems need to explain to the public exactly what is in the Health Care Reform Bill, and their plans for making it better and less costly for all.

And move on addressing the issues of global warming and financial reform. A lot to do, and they need to get cracking. Forget the Repubs, their single theme is "NO!". Do not consult them, do not ask them what their opinion is. Just do it.

What is the fallacy?? Republicans have been claiming that the polls are the will of the people and that by going against what is in the polls the democrats are going against the will of the people. So i asked will they follow the polls in the future as they demand that democrats should or will the republicans go against the polls. What is the fallacy in that??
