I also correctly noted back then that the economy would miraculously become the current President's responsibility only when the next Republican was sworn in.

Well, no, actually, Obama inherited the worst recession in 80 years, and when he left, unemployment was at less than 5%, the Dow was at 19,000 and the economy was pretty darned good.

All Trump has done is not fuck up the good economy he got, but he's trying really hard.
