Our library is over 130 years old and a lot of its money goes into fixing leaks and such. I know what you mean about not finding the book you want. And second hand book stores are a thing of the past, so that's no longer an option, either.

Book sales the libraries run and thrift stores are where I buy mine...unless its something I really want then I buy it new...most of my books are odd books or controversial books so I buy them from several white nationalist sources

The local library has around 30 computers or so..maybe more...still have a lot of books as well. That seems to be the same with every library I go to.

I don't really need a library any more. If I want a book, chances are I can get it for free on the internet.

True you can, I just love the feel and smell of a book in my hands. Its a preference thing I guess,my mother prefers to use her kindle as well.

I learned to accept a Kindle because it's far more convenient for me. After 4 years of using it, it's just normal now.

My library is part of a 10 county system and sometimes none of those 10 libraries carry the book I want....hell I have a card through the Ga Pines library system which covers almost every library in Georgia and they sometimes don't carry books I want...out of 5k books on my goodreads only about 1700 are at either library system.
