So.... it is true that the Clintons are shady little fraudsters, that used the Haiti charity to enrich political supporters.

However, these protesters are as much part of the problem, as the Clintons are.

If the government allowed an oil company to move in and start drilling oil, these same protesters would be screaming that foreigners are getting rich off their natural resources. So thus no company moves in, and no oil is drilled, and it benefits no one.

That's the reality of how things work. If you want to make your natural resources useful, you have to have capital to invest in it, and do it. To do that you need investors. Since you hate investors, you have none, and no one makes use of your natural resources.

Similarly, a big part of the problem in Haiti with rebuilding homes, is that the squatters rights are so strong, that you can't get rid of a squatter, to build a home on a property. Thus no homes are built.

These people that are protesting, are a key part of the problem.

Haiti is one of the most liberal places on the planet, right up there with Cuba and Venezuela.

The main diff in Haiti is that they have been ultraliberal since the late 18th Century, so they are more stable and have devolved into things like voodoo. I believe the great voodoo priest and professional wrestler Papa Shango was from Port-au-Prince.
