A few illustrations of Liberal stupidity on the Minimum Wage:

(a) They seem to understand the basic concept that when people are forced to pay SIGNIFICANTLY MORE for something, they always BUY LESS of it, but they think that that principle somehow vanishes when the "something" is human labor.

(b) They believe that their Progressive legislators actually support a high MW or even a "living wage," and yet they don't hold them accountable when the D's are in power AND DO NOTHING WITH THE MW. (They fail to understand that even D politicians know that a high MW is a job-killer).

(c) They believe the bullshit "studies" that prove that increases in the MW don't kill jobs, but are too lazy to read the actual studies that explain how the whole study was compromised and doesn't apply generally to the real world - as they always do.

(d) They believe Paul Krugman is God, but ignore his textbook that explains why the Minimum Wage is a bad idea. Of course Krugman ignores it, too, having graduated from "Economist" to "Political Flack."

(e) They fail to comprehend that a "high" minimum wage condemns the people at the bottom (minorities, school dropouts, people with handicaps and disabilities) to a life of unemployment, as well as eliminating millions of part time and summer jobs for students.

(f) Refuse to believe that "Minimum Wage Worker" is a temporary designation for 99% of the people to whom it applies (I used to be there), and for those who remain there for years on end - they are probably over-paid.
