Private Placement offering. Seeking investors. Needs answers to some questions.

I have a company. Seeking to raise some quick cash with a private placement offering. What kind of qualified investors should I be seeking ? Do I need to get a Dun & Bradstreet listing of investors.?

I think looking for investors who have money and want to invest with you would be a good start ... lol.

If you don't already know the investors why do a private offering??? The reason for that is essentially that you get to pick your directors and other officers. The chances for audits, state, local, and Federal, are high, and would probably wipe out any savings over a public offering as well in the long run.
