Vegas DOESN'T predict who is going to win or lose.
The point is to agree or argue against the Statement Above.
Vegas actually PREDICTS what betters across the WORLD will place on a game.
Vegas want's the money 50-50, and with the 'take' Vegas come out way ahead if the line remains Stable.

Take OW/Oregon last weekend.
Did Vegas really think that Oregon would win by 7.5 (original line) ? Then finally settle at 10.
Or did Vegas predict that the betting public, from around the entire Globe, would be betting on Oregon, with all the HYPE Oregon had.

Vegas WON HUGE with UW hammering Oregon.
Why did the line move to 10, because People were STILL betting on Oregon.
So Vegas needed MORE money on UW, so they moved the line up.
When they moved the line to 8 and 9, people STILL bet on Oregon, so Vegas moved it to 10.

The point is to agree or argue against the Statement Above.

point spreads are changed with the goal of encourabing more people to bet. "vegas" where bookmakers are more like accountants than gangsters, try to get 1/2 pf the gamblers to bet on each team. if they achieve this, they are assured 10% no matter who wins.

I don't know why, people were speculating there was something wrong with Penix, I knew Vegas got this one completely wrong (UW hasd already beaten them) but didn't believe it, so I went against my instincts and thought Vegas knew something I didn't, and I was wrong about that.

Always go with your gut, and my gut said jump on Washington. I should have listened.

Penix got injured in Oregon Game.
Of Course UW didn't make a 'public announcement' but he was injured and it affected his throwing.
I have watched and rewatched EVERY UW game this year.
There was no speculation about an injury, Penix was indeed injured.
