In reaction to Virginia requiring porn sites to verify user ages... the world largest porn site decided to simply block the entire state.
It would be awesome if they would just block the entire country, and all the others right along with it.

Clearly if enough states did as VA did all of the various free porn sites would have to make massive changes.

This has always been the biggest issue with porn. Yes adults have a right to view it if they wish but it should be restricted from allowing minors to view it. Some within the instustry have claimed that this would be too difficult to achieve. Which is bullshit. If the law restricted it from being made accessable to minors and enforced it with some arrests the market would correct the problem real fast.

Ironically porn producers know that this would benefit them more than anyone else, Porn has been in decline for some time now thanks to tube sites which make it free and easily accessable to all. Drive the tube sites out of business and the producers will make more money off of their product.

This would make it easier on parents to block access. But the government won't do that. The porn industry receives about $97 Billion annually across the globe, and about $10-$12 Billion of that is the United States. You can bet your ass part of that goes into campaign funds.
