I was messin with IceMan.. I actually do like the Bee Gee's.. they bring good memories of my mother playing them..

Be honest!!

Do you like the Bee Gee's?

I like music in general and try to find the good in just about every genre. When I was in my teens to mid 20s I was basically a hard rocker. I liked what we consider today to be "classic rock." I also went through a stage when I listened to a lot of country music (when I lived in Logan, UT). During that period, I pretended NOT to like the Bee Gees because they had that feminine voice sound but secretly I would listen to them and liked a lot of their stuff. Later on, I got into the "Disco scene" and liked all disco music.

Today ... I like everything from Mozart, Bizet, & Beethoven to Classic Rock to Country to Folk to Gospel to the Bee Gees (Pop/Disco). :D

What's not to like? They defined an era. Saturday Night Fever was huge....how can anyone hear this song and not like it? STFU!!!!

I like the Bee Gees. Sad that their lives had such tragic ends. I think only one is still alive. Good music.

Saturday Night Fever sucked. That was the only song..throughout the whole movie, they played. Over..and over...and over...and over...and over....you get the drift.
Bleh.

The only falsetto I liked was whatshisface...four seasons..frankie valley. My sister played those albums all the time.

That tune brings me right back to 1977 when I was standing in line at an Army recruiting facility in Los Angeles, CA. I was still in high school but joining the Army via the "delayed entry program." I think that's where I first heard that song. Unfortunately, the Army couldn't take me due to a lower back defect that plagues me to this day. Anyway ... that was one of my favorite Bee Gees songs.

Their old stuff was pretty damned good. They started Disco but then it went somewhere else into the Great Maw of Capitalism in the Entertainment Industry.

Barry wrote good songs and Robyn had the full voice, and it was a good voice. Maurice's harmonies and production of the harmonies was smooth and mellow. He created most of the bridge transitions in the melodies as well and was a serious co-writer who always liked to stay in the background.

Yep, I listened to their old stuff a lot and I still do because now I can see a lot of what I once had only heard. I love harmony and melody. My family all play(ed) instruments.
