Chair Powell coolly ignored the whiny senator's attempted grilling regarding the rate hikes to control inflation.

What I would say to her is "there are two jobs for every unemployed person senator, runaway inflation is a disaster for everyone, the Fed's primary role is to control inflation"

"What would you say to them?" Warren asked the Fed chair of the estimated two million people who could soon be unemployed due to Fed policy. "How would you explain your view that they need to lose their jobs?"

Actually, that's pretty much what he told her: (from your link)

Insisting that a surge in job losses is "not an intended consequence" of the Fed's rate increases, Powell said he would "explain to people more broadly that inflation is extremely high, and it's hurting the working people of this country badly—all of them, not just 2 million of them."

I saw the hearing live and didn't remember his answer. He seemed to tap-dance around her questions. Then at the end she said she wanted Powell replaced.
She was the most ignorant senator by far. Most respected Powell for doing his job well.

Last summer, Roman Rain Tree, a member of the local area Dunlap Band of Mono and Choinumni tribes, started the initiative to change the name, saying that Squaw Valley was offensive to Indigenous people in the region. Squaw Valley is a census-designated place in Fresno County.
It's now "Palisades at Tahoe"..

If she's not a Native, why insult her by calling her the name of someone who was?
So she’s not a Native American, like she claimed? She lied to the American people to try to win over votes? She doesn’t understand how the economy works and is wanting interests rate to be dropped to spur on inflation? She is deceitful, and dumb on the economy, not sure she is one who should run for office of President. Of course she is ignorant, and loves to lie, so she is the perfect politician.

Tell me. What does being a Native American mean? What does it require to be accepted as one of us?
The question was rhetorical, Warren flat out lied and had to apologize for her lie. She is a good politician, she knows nothing of the economy and loves to lie, providing no one catches her. She’d make a great Presidemt as that seems to be the criteria for both parties.
