Homemade costumes were -the best-...Well maybe in the picture above......

I remember cutting out two eyeball holes in a sheet, and going as a ghost.

Problem was is that the sheet was to big, and so it drug the ground.

It had not long stopped raining, so when I walked through the puddle that I couldn't get around, instantly my sheet became a prison of doom...

We had brown paper grocery bags to fill for our candy .. Didn't know what double bagging meant back then, so the result wasn't good after a long night of begging...

Bag would rip out everytime.

Fake tree ? We did too growing up. Got married, and we've had a real tree ever since.. it's all good though, because we was poor growing up, so that fake tree served it's purpose over and over again.

I know one thing though, and that is that real tree's are getting way to expensive these days. I just spent $75.00 dollars for one. Wow. I remember when a real tree was around $20.00 dollars or less, but that was way back in the day.
