I found this Winchester Model 250 .22 (S-L-LR) at a shop this morning. It's in excellent shape. Not at scratch on it.

It was topped with a 3X9X32 Bushnell (Japan made) .22 scope of the same vintage....In fact it may have been sold as a rifle/scope combo by K-Mart.

It was a steal at $150.00 as the lever-action version is the most "rare". They also made a pump, and semi-auto version.

There is no real serial history on the 100/200 series of Winchester .22 rifles, you have to go by early to late features. This one has later features.

They were made from '63 to '73. Oddly enough Winchester went with more expensive features (like metal instead of earlier plastic parts like the front sight and rear shroud) on the later rifles.
