Peter Gabriel to UK: Condition Israel relations on respect for human rights

"Musician Peter Gabriel joined his name to a letter protesting the*Prawer Plan, which could displace tens of thousands of Bedouin Palestinians from their homes in the Israeli south."

Today, worldwide protests are scheduled against the ethnic cleansing Prawer Plan.

"The letter, which was published on the UK’s Guardian, calls upon the British government “to make its relationship with Israel conditional on respect for human rights and international law and take concrete action to hold Israel to account”."

I like this proposal on how Nations should deal with Apartheid Israel.

They should make any relationship with Israel conditional on Israel honoring her human rights obligations owed to her indigenous native peoples under international law.

Day of rage’: UK protests Israeli plan to remove 70,000 Bedouins

Published time: November 30

"Across the UK Britons are to take to the streets to protest an Israeli plan to forcibly remove 70,000 Palestinian Bedouins from their homes."

The article states that the Prawer Plan has triggered accusations of “ethnic cleansing” and “discrimination” among activist groups.

And the article informs us that the Prawer Plan will see between 40,000 and 70,000 Bedouin citizens of Israel removed from their homes in South Israel.

"The Israeli government has said the Bedouins will be re-homed and granted compensation for the move. However, UK-based charity the Palestine Solidarity Campaign says the plan heralds*“the forced displacement of Palestinians from their homes and land, and systematic discrimination and separation.”*The document calls for immediate action from the British government, urging harsh measures rather than the usual diplomatic rhetoric.*"

“There can be no ‘business as usual’ with a state which is preparing to ethnically cleanse 70,000 people. It’s time to start challenging Israel’s racism and apartheid policies,”*the activist group wrote in the letter.*"

People in the UK certainly seem to desire a change in relations between their country and Apartheid Israel.

There should be worlwide consequences for a Nation embracing 65 years of nonstop ethnic cleansing in Palestine.

Just curious, but did Peter Gabriel make any mention of the welfare payments that support the Islamic terrorists running the "Pal" Arab territories have any contingencies?
