Palin chances in 2012 are over

Fox is the Number One News Source??

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

UM, actually, yes they are.

"The trend in news ratings for the first three months of this year is all up for one network, the Fox News Channel, which enjoyed its best quarter ever in ratings, and down for both MSNBC and CNN. "
http://www.nytimes.com/2010/03/30/business/media/30cnn.html

I missed CBS, NBC and ABC on that list

I didn't write the article....but I believe they were talking about News Networks.

Network newscasts receive substantially higher ratings than cable news

Her response to 4 days of constant abuse was not inspiring.

And again, the OP forgets that Palin had nothing to do with Loughner, he didn't care about Palin one way or another.

That hasn't been determined yet, but thank you for doing your duty and defending Poor Sarah.

and obamas chances are even less than Palins do you have a point?

You actually believe that Palin has a better chance to be elected president than President Obama?

Did I say that? But what the hell with a failed economy under his belt if people want to continue supporting him more fucking power to them

I'm not sure that Palin was ever intended to be a serious presidential candidate. She is an electoral "Hail Mary" turned celebrity. She was designed as a populist firebrand for low-information, often poorly educated, rightwing voters.

The left used to provide the rural "Palin Demographic" with economic hope, but they dropped the ball in the 60s with social movements that alienated this demographic -- famously dubbed Nixon's silent majority (the white silent majority who resented the Civil Rights movement, the sexual revolution, the antiwar movement, and multiculturalism. Like the Germans of the 1930s (whose religion and traditions were being undermined by liberal secular humanism, cosmopolitanism, and modernism), America's silent majority feels like its values and culture are under siege. This is also why we are seeing so many scapegoats: liberals, gays, terrorists, communists, socialists, and illegals --all of them have replaced the Jew as the shadowy invisible force threatening the social fabric). Therefore, it is understandable why these people are so easily manipulated by the plain spoken patriot who claims to represent "real" blood-&-soil Americans. I'm talking about rugged individualist cowboys like Reagan and Bush, as opposed to northeastern devil-tongued preppy-policy-wonks like Dukakis and Kerry. The Palin Demographic resents the smug pseudo-sophiticated metropolitan liberal elites, with their Ivy league educations and fancy highbrow culture.

The common man is sick of being told that his Bible and Gun are premodern anachronisms. He doesn't want no fancy talk about the geopolitics of oil. He wants simple stories about good versus evil. When Ronald Reagan says "Evil Empire", the common man feels deep pride. Why? Because he trusts Dear Leader deeply.

[The common man loves and trusts Government. That's his dirty little secret. When Dear Leader speaks about evil Soviets or Islamo-terrorists, the common man runs to the store to buy a flag. The common man believes what Government says. If George Bush (aka Government) says something about Saddam Hussein, the common man believes him. The common man trusts government deeply]

Palin was constructed to agitate honest simple folk with quasi-Biblical rhetoric about "evil-doers" who have come to destroy our Sacred Nation.

(This is the oldest trick in the book. Every time a small group of people consolidate power, they manipulate the common man with tales of evil doers who are destroying the country)

I wouldn't know, show me.

Fat Knowledge: Network Nightly News vs. Cable

According to MediaBistro.com, on Sept 20 the NBC Nightly News had 8.2 million viewers, and CBS and ABC each had 7.5 million viewers (for a total of 23.2 million). On the cable side the largest audience was for The O'Reilly Factor with 2 million (or 3.1 million if you include his rebroadcast) viewers. So the network audiences are still much larger than any particular cable show, but their audiences are going down steadily (as seen in the graph) due to the internet and cable news.

Really? And those who blindly supported obama are intelligent people? Well folks look at what intelligent people gave to America a lying piece of shit that has a failed economy under his belt. The people who support Palin are very politically savy and cannot be fooled by the fluffy words of obama.

And this part didn't make sense to me.

"Fox News has almost all of the highest rated shows as seen in this rating of all cable news shows in August, and only 11 shows have an audience of over 1 million a day. Interestingly, while Fox News has the largest audiences for their shows, CNN actually attracts more unique viewers each month. Fox News viewers tend to watch for longer amounts of times which explains how this is possible. Although Fox News dominates the news ratings, it is important to keep in mind they are only getting around 1-1.8% of all households watching TV."

Is it just me or does this make sense?

And those who blindly supported obama are intelligent people?

Nope. They were manipulated with an almost messianic rhetoric of "Change" and moral renewal. Many of them were young idealistic students who were thoroughly gamed by Obama. Had they known they were voting for a continuation of Bush policies, foreign and domestic, they would have stayed home -- and John McCain would have been stuck in the quick sand meant for the stupid left.

Well, that or the USSR really was

a.) evil, and
b.) an empire

she may or may not but it's not because of the shooting lmao

The shooting just made it plainly and painfully obvious...even to her most rabid fans and supporters.

Those hangers on that still think or even spout that she still does have a chance and/or would want her to run are just announcing to the world that they've just taken a ride on the loony bus.

LOL, the only ones I see who have been taken for a ride on the loony bus, is you Obamabots. he snagged you all hook, line, and sinker.

must suck to be you.

Palin had the opportunity to act presidential and look at the larger picture. Instead, she played the victim and made it about herself

FAIL

oh so now you care about civility or someone looking presidential? what a hoot, try practicing what you preach for a change instead of changing your viewpoint like sox to fit the moment.

Case in point...

Compare Obama's Tucson speech to Palins Facebook whine

No, its actually not a case in point.......aside from his well done verbiage for the victims etc. the speech was a strawman, you should be familiar with that since you just employed one as usual, and he did say ; "It didn't", you know the context of that right? go check, it might be valuable.

Last I checked Obama wasn't blamed for anything, kind of changes things a bit ya know? He went there for a particular purpose alone.
