Palestine Festivals

Since when has Houston texas been in Palestine ?

The question should be: Why are all of those Palestinians in Houston?

There was a Greek festival in my Brooklyn, NY neighborhood not long ago. Not so unusual.

Indeed, people celebrate their culture and pass it on to future generations.

Indeed, though a worldview based upon such slogans as "we love death more than you love life" is hardly a cultural commodity that should be passed on to future generations.

Drop in the bucket.

Left wing islamomarxist stooges, ultra right wing islamonazi stooges and islamofascists that have no right to live in a civilised world. I would send them all to Palestine or Syria and see what they do then.

Well considering ISIS formed was because of the void left after the Brits and Americans, scuttled out of Iraq with their tails between their legs,Blair and Bush were a pair of Lying Bastards in the first place and have continued to be.......they went to War on a Lie and left Chaos and a Gaping Void.....IN FACT IT WAS WITH SUPPORT BY DICKHEADS LIKE YOU IN THE FIRST PLACE,THAT WE HAVE THESE PROBLEMS TODAY...You Guys need to think before you open your collective mouths.......Thanks for all the SHIT you have placed on the rest of the World by your "In my opinion INSANITY"...You are the Guilty ...FCUK YOU ALL.

...Why do Palestinians hold festivals to celebrate the deaths of others?
Good question... in light of the fact that their Death Cult is one of their primary defining characteristics.
So what would you say about the Zionist Terrorists of 1947/48r then Kondie.......like your brain NOT MUCH.....your silence is DEAFENING my friend.steve

Look Kondie there is No point making Inane comments,in view that I can contradict you at Every Turn....Not all of us have a memory lapse after a nano-second.......Some of us remember the truth and facts..just sayin..steve

I would say that they were temporarily suppressing their Life-Cult culture and spirituality in order to bring force to bear successfully against their enemies; going to war as a People very reluctantly but resolutely.

Muslims, on the other hand, invoke and exploit their Death-Cult culture and spirituality, in order to bring force to bear (nowadays, usually unsuccessfully) against their enemies, going to war as a People with near-orgasmic joy, and comforted by the phony promises of their archaic Warrior Religion, to grant them each a Palace of fleshy delights in Paradise, should they fall in 'defense' of The Faith or their fellows or their Cause.

Thank you for your feedback.

I understand that you BELIEVE that you are capable of doing that.

There are oftentimes VAST differences between Belief and Reality.

You have yet to serve-up substantive examples of so-called Palestinian Culture that distinguish them, as a coherent People, from their diverse regional and tribal (and recent) origins, from which they diversely and variously sprang.

If you have an answer... what defines so-called 'Palestinian' culture, then, this would be the time to trot that out into the open... otherwise, we have little choice to but assume that THERE IS NO 'PALESTINIAN CULTURE" worth labeling as such in its own right.

Should we just call it what it really is... regional Arab-Bedouin-Muslim "culture", such as it is, without any particularly substantive distinguishing characteristics?

Tinmore keeps on posting videos of Palestinians celebrating their "unique" culture. This shows insecurity. Why do they have to keep "proving" that they're different from other Arabs? The pro-Israel posters here don't post videos of Israelis dancing "horas" or singing "Hatikva", since everyone already knows that Israelis have a distinct culture.

I think they are just disproving Israel's lie that they don't exist.

They let that lie slide way too long.

...They let that lie slide way too long.
If you can't list characteristics that distinguish so-called Palestinians from their regional Arab-Bedouin-Muslim brethren, then they don't exist, as a separate Culture.
Palestine is a multi ethnic, multi cultural, and multi religious country.

What is a distinct US culture?

Tales of Paul Bunyan, hot dogs, apple pies, Coca-Cola, "America the Beautiful", Stars and Stripes, minutemen and Paul Revere, Cowboys and Indians, freedom, etc. I love visiting D.C., Philly and Boston.

Americans do not claim to possess a discernible and readily identifiable culture.

But, your response is noted.

The former Turkish Imperial Province and British Mandate Territory known as 'Palestine' was, indeed, multi-ethnic, multi-cultural and multi-religious.

The majority-portion of that old Province now known as the State of Israel remains multi-ethnic, multi-cultural and multi-religious.

The minority-scraps of that old Province (what little is left of the West Bank and Gaza Strip) is now largely Arab-Bedouin-Muslim and getting more unilateral and intolerant with each passing day.

Although, given the speed at which the fragments of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip are evaporating, that should not be problematic for much longer.

Oh, I forgot fireworks on the 4th of July!!

There's a National Christmas Tree. Are you saying Judaism should be outlawed? At least Jewish sports players don't refuse to stand for the American National Anthem, like Muslim basketball player Dion Waiters. He says it's against his religion.
