It would be ridiculous to even think of having a war over abortion. It's a peripheral issue. We have much more important issues to worry about.

Moreover, much of the abortion "problem" would be eliminated with the widespread knowledge and use of technology that has been available for decades.

I think the real motivation behind the anti-abortion movement is much darker. It's pushed by many of the same people who don't care how many dead bodies are in school hallways, theaters, and the desert, starve in the U.S., or get killed in foreign lands.
