Something occurs from yesterday's coverage. During the police news conference, police ask for any cellphone video of the incident. SOP to be sure, but the accident happened however many hours earlier.

If you had video of the accident and didn't rush to the first Sergeant and other high-ranking police officer and say "I got it all on tape!" What DID you do with it?

Did people with footage try selling it instead of giving it to officials right away?

I thought about choice of terms for that actually, but not having today's intel yet went with erroring on the side of not getting sued.
