Orcas doing what they do...

I once saw a doco on Orcas, how they are so intelligent they have cultures, different pods behave differently, how the pods pass on behavior and even dare I say ethics?

How some pods will not kill seals and others will not only kill them but do it for sport, playing with the dead bodies of baby seals like footballs.

Who does that remind you of?

Intelligence, it is a gift of evolution and a curse too.

They come up the river a few times a year..nobody really knows why. Maybe they're catching fish...we do have seals and sea lions, but not lots in the river..and nobody has ever seen them take one. I think maybe it's a fun little jog for them.
