Social Security is a form of 'socialism' in the broadest sense of the term, but it is not Marxist, which is what most people think of regarding Socialism.

I have a feeling that Oprah Winfrey is a Christian. Why would she be part of a group that "openly hates Christians"? Remember that we are in a country that has a population that is majority Christian. I don't even see any animosity against Christians from Jews, Muslims, Sikhs, Buddhists, Hindus, or any other non-Christian groups. This notion that someone "hates Christians" is total bullshit. Not all Christian groups in the U.S. are embracing sectarian rivalries, but some are and some are being aggressive.

Don't worry though, I'm sure the Trump Admin and the GOP in congress want to end it. They will just wait till after the Nov 18 election to announce it. Ryan has made no secret of what his opinions are, and of late he is hush hush about them.

No one can end Social Security. These are bought obligations by the government and can oinly be considered 'unfunded mandates' if you consider SS to be part of the general budget, which is it not, technically. You also have to ignore the fact that if SS is allowed to collapse the Treasury bonds that SS holds will ahve to be forfeited and that destroys the credit worthiness of the federal government.

So none of that is going to happen. The most likely result is SS will be replaced by a higher paying Universal Basic Income.

I know why I don't know this: because it isn't true. For example, Hillary Rodham Clinton is a lifelong Methodist. President Obama is a member of the United Church of Christ. I understand that Joe Biden is a Catholic. These are all Christian denominations. Being Christian is not synonymous with being a Protestant fundamentalist.
Why are you trying to mix religion and politics? Political parties should not have sectarian religious identities.

Slowly they will have young people put money into the market and just part in SS, and raise the age so high that most will not live to collect. The market is not a safe place, it will allow the elites to take total control. Bush Jr attempted to do it and so will Trump and whatever GOP might follow him. He is cutting social programs like crazy, yesterday they voted to make the disabled harder to sue businesses that do not accommodate disabled people,

while everyone was paying attention to the shooting on the news. they were busy beavers.
