Has he been around lately? I haven't seen his usual rantings.

I don't know, I'll check. He was around the 13th and the 7th. Still an asshat.

He makes me laugh, it is like talking to a stereotype of a rude Frenchman. I don't believe I have ever met anyone in the US that fits a stereotype so perfectly.

padisha is a world unto himself. I would like to say he speaks for the French, but I doubt that.

I think it is impossible to embarrass the French.

From the blog link:
"Does France still have the means to realize its ambitions, which are humanitarian in this case?"

Alliot-Marie, until recently a senior lecturer at the Sorbonne with degrees in law and ethnography, answers, "of course," but then engages in a wince-making attempt at damage control. "France is far from Indonesia," she says. "If there were many American helicopters on the scene, this is because the Americans were already there," she says.
Whether marching into the Russian winter, defending themselves from the Nazis, saving their SE Asian Fiefdom, or helping tsunami victims, France has never had the means to realize its ambitions. But they do have the means to perpetuate their delusion of relevance.
