So why is The Donald the Republican nominee for President now then? How did that even happen IF he has "no future in politics"?

He's been running against career politicians and he's smashed ALL of them, this with pretty much the whole GOP Establishment against him.

Trump is running as a Republican, but he isn't one nor are those who vote for him. One and done. True for his VP choice as well.

Actually Donald Trump will have to take the person that is willing to run with him. It will not be like many will be lining up to join him. He might tap Christie or Kasich and if he were smart and Huntsman tell him no then go for Kasich so you can secure Ohio in November.

Rubio and Cruz add nothing to his ticket and neither does Carson. Taking a woman like Cruz did before he bailed out would not help Trump either.

Susana Martinez is popular in New Mexico but how many people actually know she is the Governor of New Mexico?

Trump need a name with him just like Reagan needed Bush with him. Without taking someone that is known like Kasich or Huntsman then Trump is going to have a hard time in my opinion.

In the end it will be Trump choice and my bet he goes with someone that is known and is either a governor or was a governor in their political past and it will most likely not be Martinez...

I think Chris Christie could be a good choice, New Jersey would be put into play, Hillary would have to spend money in a usually Blue State where Democratic Presidential candidates don't often have to spend that much money in.
